Marketing does not take a lot of money, but it is the difference between success and failure. Advertising is used to defend your company’s product or service. Pay for advertising as only a last resort. Promotion is used to create awareness of your product or service.
Online marketing is essential for successful businesses in today’s market. A good website is vital, but it is also essential to get your business known throughout the internet. Start a blog, gather a vast list of keywords, and link your site to as many related sites as possible. Get involved in web rings, and promote your business in forms of banners, text and button exchanges. There are even places that offer free ads.
Remember that list of keywords I suggested you make. Use those for search engines. Be sure to include as many words that pertain to your business as possible. For example: You sell coffee and equipment. Use keywords such as coffee, bean, ground, grind, coffee maker, coffee grinder, espresso, etc.
I’ll go into more details about these tips in future ezines. Continue to move your company forward and upward. Best of luck.
